IndexLongRun is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe you should be able to plan your financial future without sharing personal information with us.

  • Your financial data (savings, income, etc.)
  • Your calculator inputs or results
  • Location data or IP addresses for tracking

All calculations happen entirely in your web browser. Your financial information never leaves your device.

What We Do Collect

We use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to understand how our site is used. This collects:

  • Page views (which pages are visited)
  • General device information (mobile vs desktop)
  • Referrer information (how you found us)
  • Country-level location (not city or specific location)

This data is aggregated and anonymized. We cannot identify individual users, and we do not track you across other websites.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies necessary for the site to function:

  • Analytics cookies: Used by Vercel Analytics to count unique visits (privacy-friendly, no personal data)
  • No advertising cookies: We don't run ads or use advertising trackers
  • No third-party tracking: We don't share data with advertisers or data brokers

Local Storage

In the future, we may use your browser's local storage to save your calculator settings between visits. This data is stored only on your device and is never sent to our servers.

  • GitHub: Hosts our open-source code. We link to our repository but don't share your data with GitHub.

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
